For sale is an authentic Swiss PE57 bayonet. Item DOES NOT come with a frog. It has a stainless steel double edge blade. These were made with the highest quality manufacturing standards by Waffenfabrik, Bern. The photos are a SAMPLE ONLY and you will NOT receive the exact item pictured. This piece is used and there is wear, and the types of wear seen in the photos are to be expected. Expect light wear to the scabbard and hilt as well. The blade is symmetrical and is stamped with the serial number on one side and the F+ over a large W in a circle on the other. The base plate is stamped with a number. The hilt has a black plastic grip, continuing under the steel pommel with a press catch on both sides. It is stamped with a V or W on one side with the serial number and the FW logo on the side with the serial number. To unlock the bayonet, the studs have to be pushed away from the pommel. Crossguard with muzzle ring and quillon. The scabbard has a black plastic body with a blackened steel mouthpiece and measures an overall length of 9.69 inches.
