California highways and roads have used the ubiquitous Bott’s Dots and reflectors to mark road lanes for fifty years. These devices will soon be replaced with thermal plastic striping which is cheaper to maintain and can be read by newer cars which use cameras, radar and computers to “see” the lane markers. This auction is for one used Bott’s Dot and one orange reflector. They came from the street around the corner from my house when it was resurfaced and the markers were removed by the road grader.
